WoW Forever is Blizzard’s continuing reimagining of original Azeroth, built around the level 1–60 journey. It adds world content and systems while retaining the slower, social style described in the official announcements.
The world and the journey
Forever returns to Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with new regions, quests and nine new dungeons. Blizzard describes an ongoing home that will receive future updates. A Classic guide can help with familiar geography, but its talent builds and progression assumptions may not match Forever.
Three systems to understand first
| System | Announced behavior |
|---|---|
| Camping | Profession-crafted objects enhance campsites with buffs or utility. |
| Legacy | Challenges earn account-wide points; each character chooses its own tree allocation. The announced launch spending cap is 16 points. |
| Realmless rulesets | Choose Normal, PvP or Roleplaying rather than a traditional realm list. Grouping remains within your ruleset and faction; Hardcore is planned after launch. |
Choose how Azeroth looks and feels
Announcements include opt-in Transmog, modern or Classic visual presets, HD or SD character models and official gamepad support. These are announced options, not a promise that every beta implementation is final.
Where to start
Returning players can begin with a familiar class and inspect its revised tree before choosing a build. New players should first check access requirements, then pick a class whose role they enjoy. This site does not rank classes by damage without tested evidence.
