WoW Forever server status and connection help

Where to check official Forever maintenance notices and what to check when the beta is down, the launcher option is missing, or a connection fails.

Quick answer

This page is a guide to official status channels, not a live outage monitor. Check Blizzard’s Forever beta forum and regional support announcements before changing your installation. The beta’s scheduled closing date is October 21, 2026.

Check official announcements first

Use the regional forum for maintenance and development notices. Read the notice’s date, time zone and affected service; a notice for another WoW game or region may not apply to Forever. This site has no official uptime feed and cannot confirm whether servers are up right now.

Separate an outage from an access problem

  1. Look for a current official maintenance or outage announcement that matches your region and game version.
  2. Check that you selected Forever Beta in Battle.net and that the account has beta access.
  3. If you bought an eligible pack moments ago, allow the published access delay and restart the launcher.
  4. For an installation or client error, follow Blizzard’s Common Technical Issues and Solutions thread. Include the error code when contacting support.

Why a traditional realm list may not answer your question

For the announced launch model, Forever uses rulesets. A beta test realm selector and the launch structure are different contexts. Check whether friends chose the same ruleset and faction; Blizzard’s Deep Dive says cross-ruleset grouping is unsupported.
