WoW Forever release: launch content and what comes next

See what Blizzard has announced for the November launch, which activities follow later, and how to prepare without confusing beta access with launch access.

Quick answer

WoW Forever is scheduled to launch globally on November 4, 2026. The new level 1–60 world, class updates and new adventures start the journey; Blizzard says new raids unlock on December 9 and more content follows later.

What is part of the launch journey?

Blizzard describes Forever as a continuing version of original Azeroth with the level 1–60 journey at its center. Announced additions include new quests and regions, nine dungeons, the Skyborne race, revised classes and talents, Camping, Legacy progression and optional visual settings.

An announcement of a feature does not mean every dungeon, raid or update opens at the exact launch moment. Check the current development notes for testing and rollout details before planning a group activity.

What follows after release?

This is a roadmap of announcements, not a live unlock monitor. Future dates and scope can change during beta or after release.

A practical pre-launch checklist

  1. Confirm the global start in your local time zone and verify your Battle.net region.
  2. Check that your WoW subscription or Game Time will be active at launch.
  3. Compare class and racial choices, then save a talent plan with its beta build version.
  4. Watch official development notes for changes before relying on a saved build or dungeon plan.
